Here is a picture of the cover and a sample of the inside pages. I wish I had a book like this to commemorate my showers/reception/wedding. Jill saw the photos and said we should make a book like this for ourselves and fill it with quotes we like. It would be a big improvement over the notebook I write quotes in. I like the idea of making it decorative. As usual, Jill helped me make decisions throughout the projects and then came up with an idea I like even better than my own!

Oh my! i love it. i am so jealous of your fun fridays with jill!
what a great creation. how did the shower go did she love the book.
give us a recap of the shower and excitement when she saw the book.
The pictures look fantastic (much better than on the tiny camera screen). I love the book and think you did a marvelous job (you have many gifts my friend). If the happy couple is too young to appreciate it now then at least you can take comfort in the FACT that they will love it more each year they have it.
Gorgeous! I can hardly believe that youhad to tear anything out if THAT is the end result. I hope they appreciate all the time and thought (and blood, sweat and tears) that went into the book. I would love to receive a gift like that. It's really, really beautiful.
Actually, there was very little reaction from the bride when she saw the book. I think she was very caught up in being the center of attention and having a big stack of gifts to open. My sister-in-law Michelle probably was more excited than my niece. Oh well. As Jill said, she will probably appreciate it when things settle down a little more.
SO cute. Cute, cute, cute, cute, cute, cute, cute, cute. (as mom would say) Enviably. Inspiringly. Covetously. I wish I had made it, and wish I had it. We're all grateful enough for the lack if there is any, from your neice Michelle.
When she got time to really look at it I am sure she appreciated it more. I sometimes I feel like that in all the commotion and then wish I could do it all over again so I could give a better response! It looks fabulous!
I KNEW it was going to be fabulous! I don't know what you were saying about not making books very good...blah, blah, blah! Of course, it is fantastic!
And you can't go by shower reactions, it really is too much pressure! Especially for such young gals (ta hee hee). None of us do well when there is a group and other people waiting for us to open their gift and be impressed... she will figure out how wonderful a gift it is!
