before our big trip

Bob & Mim have a condo on Oahu, and they had planned to take us over Christmas break this year.

Then, several months ago, Marc's brother-in-law Rob informed us that he had a medical conference on the Big Island this summer and that he wanted to take his entire family on both sides! (We couldn't mention it online ahead of time because Rob & Lisa were surprising their kids.)

We decided to combine the two trips and we left on June 2nd, right after the kids got out of school for the summer.

I wanted to get a pedicure, and for the first time, I took Eva with me to get her nails painted.
Eva chose glittery green and had the tiniest flowers in the world. We were both pretty pleased.
We didn't start packing until the morning of our flight, but we had our nails done, so you know, our priorities were in order.

    I don't know if I would have put pedicures on the "To Do" list, but definitely personal touches before packing!

    I love the little sparkle of light from the gems on your shoe. It says, "perfection."

    Who can go to Hawaii without a pedicure? They are probably $1,000 there- so it's a good thing you thought ahead.

    HOw fun for Eva- her hair is so cute.
