Sunday thoughts

{photo from ldschurchtemples.com}

I planned to go to the temple on Tuesday, but my day was really busy and I decided to put it off until Wednesday (maybe even next week). No big deal, I thought.

But at the end of the day Tuesday, I felt terrible. I just knew that I should have arranged my schedule so that I could go to the temple. I determined that I would go on Wednesday morning, despite the fact that Wednesday was a very busy day as well.

After all of the kids had left for school, I finished getting ready and drove to the Provo temple. As I entered the parking lot, I was filled with a great sense of well-being. I could literally feel my stresses and cares dissipating, and I hadn't even entered the building yet!

I knew I was where I was supposed to be. I hope I can remember this feeling.

  1. To be where you need to be when you're supposed to be. Now that's a perfect life quest.

  2. Rhea also thinks that tape can fix anything! Too bad that it can't.

    Our temple is now 2 hours away. Wah!

  3. I know that feeling! I went to the temple yesterday after a full month away and it felt like heaven!

  4. I need to make time for the temple this week. October has blown by in such a blur, and I know that temple attendance will help me find my normal again.

  5. *sigh* only two more years and we'll have our Temple in Philadelphia. It seems like a lifetime, yet we are so happy.

    At present, it takes 3.5 hours to get to ours in D.C. Still, a very worthwhile 3.5 hours...wish I could dedicate more time to the drive.

    I"m happy to hear your report. I'm sad I can't go with you!
