Dinner tonight:
Quiche oignon avec lardons and haricots verts on the side.

Pastries from the bakery for dessert. My mouth is still tingling from the lemon tart!
No excursions today as I was preparing the apartment for the arrival of Marc's sister Michelle and her family -- they arrive tomorrow!
How fun to have company! The food looks amazing. One of these days I am going to make you give me cooking lessons. The food you make just looks incredible.
ReplyDeleteOkay my peanut butter and jelly for lunch is just not cutting it now.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this is visual torture!
ReplyDeleteYou had me at lardon...my go to word on any french menu! Looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteoooh how I love that patisserie on motte-piquet. I happen to be a connoisseur of tartes au citron (much like your husband and religieuses) and that one happens to be one of the very best I've ever tasted!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing dinner...oohlala and those desserts look heavenly. I am really getting home sick now.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so good, but then I clicked over and saw grams and ml. So beyond me!
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great time with Michelle's family- I can't wait to see where you all go in the city!
Yummmm. You're so in trouble right now, though, for posting those recipes in metric.
ReplyDeleteDo you just saute les haricots verts? Garlic? Just S&P? Do tell, Chef Michelle.
